did "Loose!" from 'Glam Slam Ulysses' ever surface in good quality? just wondering. that version is quite different from the released one and it sound pretty cool. but the glam slam ulysses i have is pretty much terrible quality so i was just wondering if the ulysses ever surfaced in better quality in recent years. i'm also loving the slightly different mix of "space" on there with the fingersnap and the less cluttered chorus etc. i remember having this thing on a cd bootleg 15 years ago or so but i've since misplaced it during a move so i can't check if that was in equally horrible quality, but iirc it was.

There was a guy on youtube a few years back that put up some rehearsal footage of Glam Slam Ulysses - he was a dancer in that show. There were two maybe three songs - I can't recall which songs, but I think Space was one of them. I need to find it, check it out and see if it is indeed a different version/mix. The version of loose he posted was one ear camera mic and the other ear soundboard feed All you have to do is strip away one ear in an audio editor and duplicate the live feed and you've got a near perfect version of the track | |

dolphin is one of my all time favorit prince songs and although the differences in the glam slam version are not that big, they are quite fascinating and beautiful imo. i'd love to have that in excellent sound quality.
and i have to agree with databank, that ulysses performance is just shockingly horrible. oh dear oh dear.
