It didn't replace "Days Of Wild". Both tracks were included originally. However, the studio version of "Days Of Wild" isn't that special and I'm glad the first official release of that track on a record (Crystal Ball) was a live version.

Right, Days of Wild is totally overrated. Prince has never found an arrangement which actually did justice to it.

eek

I didn't state that. I just stated that I don't think the studio version he was planning to put on the album originally was that special.

I love the studio version of Days Of Wild (as well as the live version),

The studio version is stripped down and very funky... IMHO...... music worship

One of my favorite songs from TGE. I love the music, the creative lyrics, and the message! I wish he would have kept "Uncle Sam" and "Paris 1798430" for himself and included them on TGE as well.

There is nothing creative about this song musically or lyrically. Nothing. Maybe it's creative for a junior high school student but for a man in his mid 30s it's really embarrassing.

Never really cared for this one. There is a strong message there, but the song itself is mediocre.

Says the person who wants the opening lines of "Moonbeam Levels" changed. So much for your notions of lyrics. When you get time, provide a few examples of creative lyrics from Prince. I'm almost willing to bet, however, that none of them will include Prince discussing racism, especially if he's addressing the evil of white supremacy. But, I've been surprised before. So, surprise or enlighten me with your examples.
