"Loose" Vs. "The Human Body" I know, I know....both tracks are dated. I always have my moments, where I like one more than the other. But, ultimately, I really enjoy them both. I'll take either track over [mostly] all of the fast tracks on 'D & P' easily الحيوان النادلة ((((|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|)))) ...AND THAT'S THE WAY THE "TITTY" MILKS IT!

. I don't see love for either track on here [especially "THB"]. So, which track do you prefer?Definitely "Loose", for the guitar solos alone. Not a big fan of either though. | |

I love the Industrial House funk of both songs, especially Loose! That song gets me ampped up crazy! __________________________________________________

I recall at the time that those songs were new thinking that they were both trying too hard, or maybe not hard enough, to have the contemporary techno/rave sound. I also appreciated then that they were possibly just Prince doing a genre in his own way, but still had a hard time getting into them. Time has helped me like them a lot more... |

"The Human Body." I prefer its sparseness.
To be honest, I don't think I've heard "Loose" in a while. I haven't listened to Come as a whole, and when it comes up on shuffle my daughter's usually around and I have to move quick before Prince says too much. But I've grabbed Emancipation before I get in the car for solo driving, so I've listened "The Human Body" more recently. I think I actually prefer it though--I don't remember "Loose" being as good by a long shot. | |

I remember hearing Loose at the clubs in '94 and early '95, about the same time as NIN's Closer. Loose is one of my favorite songs from that album, and I think still to this day it's one of those "unique" Prince songs in that nothing else in his catalog sounds like it.

Interesting paralleling of both songs which makes sense; they seem like family. They both rock hard in their own ways.

Loose easily. . Though i'm convinced Prince had a Nintendo 64 back in the day as there are samples from a futuristic bike racing game called 'Extreme G' in 'The Human Body'. |
