I was there: it really caught the spirit of the times, musically speaking, the sound was fresh, really into what 1994's R&B was about. Now whether one likes it or not is a very personal thing.

It's a great 90's single, the song should had been on the "Come" album, maybe as "Lovesign", then "Come" would be a "masterpice" (IMHO)... brilliant... but the song wasn't included, damn..?!!

I own the "Love Sign" promo cd-single, and also the 12 inch vinyl IIRC.... and what a great music video.. so many great memories, to this song..

I have always loved the whole 1994/95 "Prince/Slave" era - deeply..

4 me it belongs to TGE more than Come, maybe in place of We March for example, but those album come from similar sessions anyway, so I gues it coulda fit on Come just as much ^^
