"Love" appreciation "Love" has snuck up on me to become one of my favorite "recent" (ie within 10 years) Prince songs.
The way he closed Montreaughxz with it was sick! Can someone tell me, was the bass solo Prince or Ida?
And I thought it was brilliant how he ratcheted up that sampler set on the third night, from "When Doves Cry" on. "Nasty Girl" sounded fun and was given due time (30 seconds). Guitars on "SOTT" great. "Love Bizarre" sounds as fun and fresh as I've ever heard it, cheesy sirens and all.
With amazing versions of "Breakdown," "Cause and Effect," "When We're Dancing.." etc. this show is one of the best I've heard since... well, probably since the last Montrauxxx.
Didn't mean to meander off topic. The point I was making is that I really like "Love" a lot.

Love (Acoustic) was a welcome additition to the 3121 outtakes, too.

probably the most notable example that the industry sucks now. Love was the massive hit in the waiting. it still IS for me. didn't know there was an acoustic version out there! loved it on first listen

Interestingly, The Morning After was another outtake originally scheduled for inclusion on the 3121 album.
