Adore. I didn't know how much I loved that song until today. I was at my cabin for a week with no power, which meant no recorded music. The first song I listened to when I got my phone charged was "Adore" and it hasn't really been one of my all time favorites..or has it?

By the way, I wouldn't say "I Wish U Heaven" and "The Love We Make" are romantic ballads. They're more spiritual songs, "I Wish U Heaven" not even a slow jam in my opinion.

I know the romantic and the spiritual, even the sensual and the spiritual, aren't easy to separate in Prince's world, but I definitely wouldn't consider the songs mentioned to be romantic.

Yea, I should have left off those like Purple Rain; because the thread is suppose to be romantic as if something a couple would slow dance to. (but I forgot),,, anyway they are not getting any votes so far.

Agreed that these are his two best. But I would say Adore is the best, hands down, romantic jam because listening to it the first time made me want to get married (i even listened to it to clear the fogginess and jitters I had prior to walking down the aisle).

Insatiable, OTOH, is that song that, just makes you want to get nasty with whoever you're with.

Normally I would say Adore, but it has enough votes and I can see my favourite song is there. Its not strictly a slow jam though. Still if its on the list
