Poor Poor Lonely Computer Blue...when will he reprogam U? I was hoping "Computer Blue" may have made a welcome return to the live circuit with the rock edge of 3EG. Guitar duelling with Prince and Donna while Hannah & Ida hold it down to Earth would be something special. | |

If Prince was to do a Computer Blue "Reprogrammed", I'd want it to be a full on Punk version of the song. Loud drums, searing guitars, and making it longer than the version on Purple Rain. Either that or something simliar to Of Montreal's cover of the song, which I've been blasting lately. Purple is the color of my heart,

except that electric chair sounded like poo ... the honky tonk piano version of his electro robot funk classics never goes over well with me .. i am still stewing that he has been butchering something in the water since the rainbow tour .. i don't want french lounge prince doing sex funk prince songs .. he can sing do u lie if he wants to do that style .. i need me some freaky ass drum beats and sleezy overdriven keyboard sounds .. | |

This is my FAVORITE Prince song of ALL TIME, and it would be very interesting to see him play the song live, especially the longer version. But as I recall, I don't think he's played that song live once since the Purple Rain tour. I think it may even be one of the songs he won't perform.
