ELUSIVE - Which Prince recording would you die for?

Perhaps a concert you really wish you had seen, an aftershow you never got to attend, an unreleased album?

What do you want, that you don't have? sad

Trust me, I am a big big fan, but in the years I've owned Lovesexy, I've never listened past the second song. I swear on my cat's grave. I have got to be one of the only ones. And I know this album is orgasmic for most of everyone, so I am shocked at myself, even. And it deserves an uninterrupted playthrough for all Prince fans, I'm sure.

But I don't have the time. I just want to hear the whole thing, dammit! And I want it tracked! PLEASE, anyone, I'll give you anything you want. Does anyone have a tracked CD?

hug biggrin

Tracked Lovesexy CDs are actually very common here in Europe and very easy to come by.

I would love all the bootlegs. Also, I couldn't afford to see any Prince concert until I turned thirty so I would love to see any concert before his evolution. I would love to see any aftershow. I saw him twice in Chicago and he didn't do one after either of those shows.

I want every single unreleased studio recording from 1978-1989.

All live shows and studio recordings from 1990-Present you can have the lot amongst yourselves.

Exactly! I heard some months back people talking about a tracked Lovesexy and a non-tracked so I was telling them that I had the tracked one, assuming this was common. Everyone stared at me like omg

A track called Adonis & Batsheba (i think its that). Ive never heard it, and its the one track that is repeatedly talked about from the SOTT sessions, and still isnt available.

Susan Rodgers said it was really cheesy, but apparently prince liked it a lot. I dont know if it would be a good song, but out of intruige, Id love tyo hear this.

I just wanna set up camp in that nice little cushoned room
by the vault, with a little microwave and a fridge. I'd be
happy to retrieve from all contact with the world and just
sit there eating my tv-dinners, working my way through the
stacks of tapes and discs.

I don't know about dying for it though. That seems a bit
too over the edge.

DIE for? Well. Don't know about that. But I would really like to find the George, Wa Jam of the Year show, the Seattle ONA show, the Vancouver ONA show, and the Portland ONA show + aftershow. And I would like them to be free, and come with diamond-encrusted cases.

I can't believe tracked Lovesexy cds are the most desired Prince recordings, for some of you. Where's your thirst?
