City Lights:Ritz Club,NYC Oh,man!!I haven't listened to this in a while.I was doinga lot of driving and I played this and The Police's Live album.I was rawkin',maaan!!!damn!!The Police's very early '80's show was very punk-ish and so is this DM show!!Bobby Z is a LOT more serviceable than I have EVER given him credit for!!These are two grrreat shows!!!If you can't get up to this you're a deadfuck!!
The DM Paris show is rockin',too!!The only thing that pisses me is the Drop in sound level on the Paris show in the beginning.But,hell,this shit is THE shit!! Ok,you want to get hyped?Loop the DM shows,the Police show,and some early Clash and you will not need coffee or cocaine.You'll go in the office and curse your boss out and pull a Fight Club ofice scene on his/her ass!! c the video of the ritz in 80. a grrreat concert, and u get to see Prince perform broke, lonley and crying live, that is worth the price of admission alone. also the high notes he hits...dayum! great show!
