A BOOK that has been around 2,000 years is quite impressive...so there has to B alot of LOVE and GUIDANCE for it to still be sold to people...who are seeking some kind of wonderful... I do agree with your point though. A lot of people focus too much on what is written, rather than the message behind it. That's why Jesus had such a struggle with the Pharisees- they were reading the scriptures, but their intense focus on the letter of the law made them lose focus on the meaning. The Bible is basically one giant story of love, and love binds everyone. | |

I heard that, in those times, people were hung on straight parts of trees w/their hands nailed to the stake above their heads and hemp tied around their mid-section to help hold them to the stake.
