New Prince-book...in Norwegian

Just want to inform you about the new Prince-book "Revolusjon, kontrovers og kaos" that I'm writing, together with my two friends Petter Aagaard and Erik Lundesgaard.

The book will be released 18.10. Read and preorder here:

We are the same people that broght you the hard-to-find 5 cd box "Shockadelica" five years ago, where 81 Norwegian artists made 81 covers of Prince-songs - some very good ones, and some not that good:)

See you all at Skäppsholmen on Sunday!

Christer Falck - just back from Monreux, and still shaking!!!

Congratulations on the book! Sadly, I can't read Norwegian, but I'm sure you'll find many readers, Prince seems to have a strong fanbase in Norwey!

And thank you for the excellent Shockadelica set. I loved many covers. My favourites were "Gett Off" by Myrna Braza, "New Power Generation" by Dinosau and the country "Sign O' The Times" by I don't remember who (and I don't have the CD with me now).

By the way, some months ago I was invited to a Spanish radio broadcast to make a selection of not-very-known Prince songs and to talk about them, and we played Myrna Braza's "Gett Off". I really love how she reads the song, it's brilliant! Do you know if she has recorded other things or has she plans of doing it?

Hi, Javi! Thanks for nice feedback on the Shockadelica-box. I'm not sure if Myrna Braza has done anything else. She used to sing in a rap group, but I don't think she has a solo album out..

But she is on facebook...add her and ask! She'd be pleased:)

You should also re-check Ulvers "Thieves in the temple", Jarle Bernhofts "The One" and Bellmans "The holy river"...my top3:)

And for the not-Norwegian-readers, we're sorry it will only be available for Norwegian (and Scandinavian) readers. But it's going to be a very nice book. A lot of pages, and some interviews with people that know/knew him quite well, so it's going to be original:)

Wish I could read Norwegian!

By the way--really liked Shockadelica. Some mighty interesting things on there. Good work.
