i'm guessing there's the 3rd Eye Girl album 'in the pipeline' and probably also

andy allo's |superconductor:reloaded| and prince will likely just keep putting

has the 3rd Eye Girl project gone through a change from being instrumental

for the most part to being something else? (we did get quite a few tracks of

that description on the webstreams, which were said to not be on the album,

so they are either just outtakes or a previous draft of the album which has

since gone through changes).

a while after "the breakdown" was premiered at the dakota party by Rashida,

3rdEyeGirl mentioned Donna and Hanna being in the studio laying down parts

for "the breakdown". so was it re-recorded for inclusion on their album or was

it rerecorded for a prince album? or just another version, for no one and to be

determined when or where or how and by whom.

is the 3rdEyeGirl album still called "Plectrum Electrum"? did they mention any

additional tid bits on the chat? (well now, let's be carefull not to copy & paste

what they said, we've seen how well that goes down, but i think we'll still be

has andy allo hinted at her album being "reloaded" and possibly "rereleased".

i noticed today that she's offering a digital booklet with liner notes to her cd

superconductor on her website for 0.77 cents. but i'm holding out on buying

her album or the booklet until i know more about the 'reloaded' version since

that'd be more interesting for me as it might have a few more songs with P

on it (including "what it feels like" ?)

and one final question: is "LOL" still available anywhere? i purchased it from

the first version of the 3RdEye website, yet never got the download link (did

get the links for everything else i bought from them, no problems). mailed,

mailed and mailed to them, yet never got through. then the site changed and

the song was no longer available. i wasn't too big on it either way, in fact I

kind of disliked it, but for completist reasons i'd still like to have it. now they

only sell the video on the new site but I want the mp3/wav/whatever. is it on

USA Itunes? it isn't on itunes in the netherlands.

there's also still "2 Young 2 Dare", which was also premiered at the Dakota

by DJ Rashida.

it's been performed live by prince and 3EG on the american tour, perhaps

that indicates they also recorded 'their' version of it, just like it seems they

have recorded another version of "the breakdown".

i already liked the versions from the dakota dj set just fine and would be

happy to see them released.

so what would keep "2 Young 2 Dare" from being released on the site as

another 'single'? is he working on a full on prince album anyway, even if

All good questions! I'm hoping we're going to get a 3rd Eye Girl record, instrumental or otherwise, and a second Prince album featuring stuff like "The Breakdown" and "2 Young 2 Dare". Hannah and Donna seem to have been absorbed into the NPG proper, as well as the 3EG unit, so it would make sense that they are on other material as well.

If one thing keeps constant in the Prince world, it's IstenSzek's enthusiasm.

Too bad, I can't share it with you. IMO he should take even more time in order to rethink his musical approach in general. What are his real artistic goals?

Screwdriver, RNRLA, FULU - is this kind of pop kindergarden all he can come up with these days?

So much talent, but so little development as far as taste and artistic growth is concerned. It's kinda disappointing.

I'm not sure how I feel yet, but a musical palette cleanser might help.

I had time last week to listen to the Spreecast (first time listening, actually) and at the risk of getting in trouble, I believe Dr.Funkenberry said that they have lots of stuff (videos, rest of his Prince interview) to release any day now, but they've decided to hold off because of the Royal birth. You know, if you Google "Prince" you're more likely going to get an article on the British Royals than on his Royal Badness...

Personally, I'm not interested in anything Andy Allo. I'm also cooling on the whole 3rdeyegirl concept (probably because of the livestream nonsense since I do like Ida and Donna), but I'm still here posting so I guess I'm open to hearing more music. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if Prince's "team" puts things on hold even longer now. No more candy for you.

Also, LOL is not being sold on the US iTunes; only Fixurlifup is. How ironic.

Seriously though, it hasn't been that long since the last releases, so I'm good for now.

The Breakdown and Big City were pretty good live in Montreux so it would be interesting to

eventually hear the studio versions.

They sounded pretty serious! I was confused, but maybe they're looking at some Google Analytics info or something? Also makes you wonder about who their target audience is, if they even have a clear idea... Anyway, the baby prince is a week-old. I think that's enough time.

For me it's been impossible to keep up with all of these singles released, these live streams etc...

I have never downloaded a single song from a computer. I no longer even own a laptop. I have a "smart" phone and a work computer (which does not block this site ;-0 ) I don't know how or where to look for newer music, live or otherwise, that get circulated on the internet. Yeah, i'm totally out of touch...LOL. I am also dying for a proper release from Prince.

I'm always up for a new Prince album, though not really excited.


I seriously doubt it will be any good though, but that's ok.
Even his boring stuff is worth at least one listen.

I'm stunned the band hasn't fallen apart and become

another Tamar or Bria yet though.

And I honstely can't remember what any of the singles have sounded like, except Screwdriver--and that's not a good thing.

More mediocre music? .............nah, no thanks. I'm @ the point where I only want to hear better quality 80's bootlegs. The new songs are boring, mixed very poorly, & Prince is half-assing it vocally. He hasn't had a tantrum on a record in, like, forever.
