I love it!! The highlight of his career!!!

Not really, but Wasted Kisses, Mad Sex and Come On are very enjoyable tracks IMHO. And some others are OK too. Not his best album, but miles better than most albums that have been released since....

I have have very fond memories of that period in my life, and my journey as a Prince fan, so yes, I like it a lot.

The album is poor overall, but I have a lot of good memories as a fan from that era/tour/album so I can always enjoy it when I listen to it. It's biggest crime is the production really. It's no worse than a lot of what followed (not much of a saving grace I know).

I don't love it, but there isn't one single song on there that qualifies as his worst. I would take ANY song on NPS to replace Jughead and Push on D&P. Easily. Wasted Kisses is pretty universally loved, I'd say, but nothing on the album is as bad as Arms of Orion or Grafitti Bridge.

I love Newpower Soul. I understand why some people don't, but I enjoy it beginning to end and think it's solid. And the really good songs on there are outstanding.

well, i liked imagettin from gcs2000 especially with the effects and bass petals. he did it at the flashback festival 2011 and got a standing ovation for one in a million.
