Did Prince shed a tear? Sorry y'all, I'm a bit out of date...but is it true that Prince shed some tears during a song at Montreaux? If this is true, some 1 please confirm...& if so... It might be correct to say...he really loves her  Peace 2 the Purple Nuggets No justice, No peace | |

 In American english most assume it is pronounced MontreAux because of the way of our language is structured. It really is a common mistake with most Americans. | |

On another thread it says "Montrauoxgh" on this thread it says "Montreux" which = Montreux

Hi Praxis, during the sampler set I saw him rubbing his eyes once or twice. Also, he didn't want to be filmed up close at that point... It was definitely a magic moment, so who knows? Then again, it might have simply been some sweat that got into his eyes. - Azif WeKare -

Also during "Dark" and "Purple Rain" on the first night he appeard to have tears in his eyes. I'm hot and I don't care who knows it...I got a job to do.  | |

I read it as tears as well. Up close, the man does not sweat as much as I expected. Also he seemed very emotional all three nights -- particularly 1 & 3.

I know this is a bit odd but I got one if the tissues he dropped into the crowd at the end on the 3rd night. Also-I think he did shed a tear during 'The Love We Make'. I was right in front of him - maybe 1.5 meters away. X | |
