Yup, they're both pretty encouraging. I hope this means he's got another, non-3rdEyeGirl album coming along soon.

Totally agree.
"Big City" is brilliant. Looking forward to hearing a studio version.
So, those who said "The Breakdown" might be a one off, what do you say now?
Interesting that the stronger material is the material that hasn't been released on the site. Held back for an album, perhaps? |

It sounds quite promising but I find the horns way too overpowering... I would like a studio version too, see what that sounds like. [Edited 7/20/13 8:32am]

I like Big City slightly more than the Breakdown (which I think is rather conventional), but both are good. The wooh is on the one!

"dirty little hotel room... or workin' on a farm"
CLASSIC.
I also would love to hear the studio version of this.
Excellent songwriting and arrangement. "He's a musician's musician..."

I really like this. Making my Sunday and shit. Go 'head, big bro. Sick backup (really impressed by that, they usually get on my nerves). Horns big, all that, nice. "Montreux... what's so funny?" I feel them. For all time I am with you, you are with me.
