Scandalous - Crime, Passion or Rapture?

Which is your favorite?

I vote "The Rapture" wave

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Agree, though I like some of the vocal break down in "The Passion."

It's The Rapture for me. I have never tired of that solo. The whole suite is great. Prince overindulgence at it's best.

Yeah, it's the guitar on The Rapture that does it for me, too. nod

The Rapture for that guitar solo, pure sex.

He really gets down on The Passion backing vocals.

Somebody identified it as the same guitar solo as on Sheila E's Dear Michelangelo. I tried to listen for it, but Michelangelo is just so busy I can barely hear it. I am glad this Scandalous solo got the spotlight for its own.

Seriously, I never have.

Scandalous the song is one of my least favorite Prince songs and it never occurred to me to even get the other versions.

Wow, I'll have to give Dear Michelangelo another listen tomorrow, but I can't imagine this being true.

The Rapture all because of the blistering guitar solo. However, the whole suite is the bomb!

Honestly I thought it sounds like the solo at the end of When Doves Cry. Give it listen and see.

Are you sure? I listened to it twice today. It's definitely the same fuzz tone, but I was listening for specific runs and didn't pick them up.
