free streaming concert .... very cool I just happened to check my email and there was an invite to a livestream from Paisley Park.It took a bit to load up but after witching hour it started.Very cool!Live band PrinceHornzSolosPeople Pleaser, Ain't gonna miss you, Something in the water, Courtin Time and more.What a great way to end my Saturday Night.Prince is very COOL!  | |

I do agree that it's very, very cool. Can you imagine if the technology had been around during the original "Days of Wild" period? Lord, just think of all the great concerts we could have witnessed from a great distance.
Just a slight issue, though: Would it kill Prince to have decent lighting for a concert so that you could actually SEE the players? Seems kind of besides the point to put up a dark video where you can't see much of anything. I will admit that as a result I'm not very interested in watching the videos, but I absolutely LOVE having access to the audio! No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

Yeah these streams have been happening for a couple of weeks but this weekend was the first time we saw and heard the band and Prince live and not just a candle or a mixing desk with recorded music. And for people like myself who have little chance to get to Paisley Park, seeing and hearing a live stream of a party there is great. ...every night another symphony... | |
