It's actually one of the reasons that "UTCM" is my favorite Prince movie. Come on, when Christopher gets out of the tub and they dip, and his towel comes off? Too sexy! Jerome sitting by his rose-petal-filled bath?

Why are folks taking this so seriously? Of course it was camp, of course it was all in fun, and of course it was homoerotic! That's all. Nobody is saying "Prince and Jerome were fucking each other" or "Christopher and Tricky were fucking each other" - is nuance completely lost of some of us??

No, the whole point of the film is they're gigilos who just use women 4 money. Prince though does fall in love and steps back from the gay way.

This was a fucked around movie.PERIOD.And it destoyed Prince's career everything after this went down hill,sales,charts,attention ect.4give me im just keeping it real.Prince is overall my favorite but he fucked up.

I think there was some kind of homo-erotic thing going on in this movie,but I think it was probably meant as some kind of "inside joke" or something.It was campy.Amazingly,Prince acts masculine in the movie,it's mostly Jerome who comes across as prissy.The scene where he gets pissed at Christopher for spending the night with Mary...that scene speaks volumes.

This film was meant for comedy, and about a heterosexual romance, it was not meant for seriousness like 'Purple Rain', and it was not 'autobiographical' in anyway, so come on, can't those who claim this or that just take a joke?

In answer to your question, yes, they did seem to be quite close, and the bath tub seen isn't something normal plas do, so I don't know. Maybe it's just Prince tryin' to mess with & confuse people.
I guess he was right about how his fans try to analize everything he does,
