Sounds like a studio cut. If it was a rehearsal you'd hear Prince calling out cues to the band etc.

I checked the song after reading this thread: and I am so disappointed,

"A killer"? - please tell why you think so.. - I find this "slow jam" soo boring...

I have my doubts Prince will ever come up with some seriously interesting music again.

I see it as a critique of corporatization of our world today, even down to the food we eat. Mickey D's is a huge corporation having an impact on the ecosystem. McDonald's gets much of their food from Monsanto, which is essentially poisoning the natural world in the interest of profits.

I work in this industry. Not Monsanto, but a competitor. It's complete bullshit propogated by fear-mongers.
