Cannabis is as about as bad for you as tea! The same can be said about tobacco. They are all leaves of a different plant which, if drank as we do with tea, contain stimulants that have no serious health risks.

The only difference between drinking tea and coffee or smoking weed and fags is the method you have opted for delivering the stimulants accross the blood-brain barrier. It is true tht smoking is bad for the lungs and it is also true that cigarettes have been infused with a yriad of extra toxins that cause harm. But that is no reason to blame the plant itself.

I have very little time for all you holier-than-thou judgementalists that think because you run and swim a bit, drink herbal tea and eat salad leaves that you are somehow above reproach and are better than everyone else. Its all about the dopamine release in the brain and excersize gets the rush going as does, amongst other things, THC, caffeine, nicotine, adrenaline, junk food, sex, masturbation, religion, laughter, texture, music, art and much more....

So, after you have had a run that took you far enough to release the neccessary levels of dopamine to satisfy, you are sitting in your smoke-free home and tucking into your healthy salad, bear the following in mind:

1) Things that may be in your salad that contain nicotine:

eggplant, tomatoes, potatoes, tomatillos, sweet peppers and hot peppers.

2) After the dopamine rush provided by your 10 mile run you may feel a little aching in the legs. Did you know that cannabis has been proven to provide anti-inflammatory benefits? It can also assist the function of the immune system, improve bone metabolism and neural function. Cannabis is even capable of inhibiting cancer cell growth. It makes lousy tea, but if consumed as such there are no determined risks to your health.

3) for healthy lungs, drink your tea and do not smoke it!

4) Madhouse: 21-24, The Dopamine Rush Suite - Proof prince likes tea and fucking.

5)We are ALL addicted to the dopamine "feel-good" rush, its what our brains are wired to do. People have different ways of attaining that rush, some like to run a marathon, some like to fuck, some like to smoke a big fat spliff. Yes, it was once word in Prince "Universe". If he did mushrooms back then can't be proven. I always thought this is what he was talking about in the song 'Boom' when he said, "and if the sunrise is still a question, the answer is in the dark...celibate, mushroom, canopy" but TheEnglishGent brings new meaning to the last line of this song.

I don't think you have to be on drugs to be bold and make a song like Others Here With Us, it's just a song about what many people think about or believe that there are spirits of deceased people ghosts or whatever around us. The information is already there, to make a song like that. Plus they all probably had a deep conversation about it the subject, and Bobby Z (uncle taking his life?)
