The day my office turned purple...so to speak.

I'm sitting in my office one day and two people come in to visit my Director, one was rather quiet but the other one was very loud. I thought to myself, Why does that voice sound so familiar. So my boss calls me in to introduce me. She says Chuck this is Billy Sparks and his assistant (I forget his name). Since I'm in work mode, I was thinking oh, he must be another label rep. My director say, Billy give him your number since you guys will be working back and forth to see how we can do the contesting for the product. Now, after about 20 minutes of talking business, Billy and his associate leave, THEN IT HIT ME...I said HEY!!!! (to my Boss) THAT'S BILLY THE CLUB OWNER FROM PURPLE RAIN!!!!! My Boss says, "I would say duh which would be more appropriate but I did the same thing the first time I met him too." Major laughs afterwards...

That's a cool story...thanks for sharing.

I bet you could go back in time and say, "Billy...where'd you get them glasses?"

No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
