Well as a divorcee myself and just looking at Prince's track record with women. Imma say it was him and not the women. A woman doesn't have to be a golddigger to want a relationship with a successful or rich person-that's just a smart woman. Hell women don't wanna take care of no man lol. But we all know that wifey two was a straight golddigger-ole girl just gave Prince back what he had given to so many others Still him though, but marriage material he is not

Prince is far from being stupid im sure he knows that his finances make him a great catch I think he really loved wife number two that's how she took him to the bank but I think he has done so many messed up things to women that any woman who really thought a relationship with him would last is fooling herself.

Why? The alimoney is part of the deal.


If a girl gives up her own live or career path in order to be in a relationship with him,

she should get the alimoney when it's over.


When she stays working and making money for herself, she will have a life of her own and she does not need to adjust her schedule to him.

If he wants to be with her, he'll have to step up to the plate to make the love relationship worthwhile for her.


I think that is the great thing about emancipation.

You can always work to make money, but you can't always be recognized for the love you have for another when the other takes you for granted, period. Again, with the comparing money to awareness of pain and other such things. This would make better sense if the narrative used more objective language in detailing a man who rejects a woman who loves him in pursuit of riches, which is what I think this poem attempts but fails to do.

All the rainbows in the world are the gift... put the pot of gold up for sale, I'll share the rainbows, forever. Oh god damn. I was only joking about using the Rainbows line above. Never in a million years did I think you would do it. Before this line, I was going to say, though still nonsensical and misfired, this poem is a big improvement on the other one you posted recently. But, this line screwed the pooch supreme. Oh my goodness.
