I agree 100%!

Now remember when he wore the 'fro during his younger years? I wonder if he had kept his hair in its natural state, in a 'fro or braids, twists, dreads, if some of his fans would have had a different view of him? It seems over the years, so many of his fans have become used to his permed-hair/look, which was often referred to as a 'pretty-man' look, and now that he's wearing it in its natural state, in a hairdo similar to many black males with a 'fro, I do believe many are having a hard time getting used to it. I give him credit for going natural though. At the end of the day, his hair doesn't define his gifted music talent or skills.

Prince just isn't Prince without that relaxed hair....that is Money Mike straight Pimpin' there!

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I personally don't mind the fro, I think he should get someone really good to take care of his hair no matter what he does to it

I think Prince has been doing his own hair mostly for a while though

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

I kind of like this era, 3rdEyeGirl. He said long ago he wanted an all girl band that was funky and rocks hard. Prince has this badass "Dirty Mind" look going on that is more futuristic. Kind of an "a--hole" look, in a good way like a rockstar. That's what I though after seeing Billboard. Prince is a rockstar among many celebs. Musicians that want to be celebs more than they know how to be rockstars, sick.

The "Prettyman" look for me was more the Rave Era look, the futuristic blueman group style garb and dreds. I know that ladies would refer to Prince as the "pretty man" but also he is older and that is going to go against him a little. I think he aged but thats alright we all age, he aged damn well but Prince is 54. He looks older as he should!

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

Hope not, the longer straight hair always suited him more than the fro.

It'll last until he takes it off. Prince has a lair like Lex Luthor deep within paisley park. You thought it was outtakes in the vault, but actually it's just where he keeps his hair.

They probably get quite raggedy from all the washing and sweat on stage, so I imagine he has a few in rotation.

Ya think? I heard he has had various hairdressers over the years. Besides, there are so many, new and advanced hair products out now, than there was back in the day, for Black Ameicans who wear their hair in its natural state. I see more Black Americans, men and women, going natural these days.
