What a weird way of distribution.

Nowadays we have the interwebz.

Recordings can be transferred quite swiftly , even as soundboard recordings.

Was this another one of them greatest hits shows or was the setlist anywhere near interesting?

yeah, prince was a big fan of dusty bin. that's why all his onilne messages are cryptic clues and you have to jump through hoops to join lotusflower

and of course his homage to the show in his concept album 3121. he just added the extra 1 for copyright reasons, but listen to the lyrics of the songs and you will realise he's talking about the show with ted rogers

Anybody else have a glitch during Controversy? Seems like a bit is missing.

1st : I like to thanks to all involved for this release!

2nd : I was pretty hyped up.. excited to finally hear this

I listened to the May 13th, 2011 show (CD 1&2) and i must say i was bored out of my mind

The show drags on. I actually couldn't wait for it to finish

There are no big highlights. Well nothing really stood out to me

I did find my self enjoying a few cuts.. but only to be interrupted with Sax solos

God I feel like a hater.. and im not

Don't get me wrong im am grateful for any release, especially a soundboard

but this one didn't move me much

One a good note i have yet to listen to the 3rd *highlights cds*

good release. 3rd disc is good with an excellent version of future soul song and more unusual song choices. Sound quality is also pretty good.

Disc 1 Tracks 18 & 19, Disc 2 Tracks 7 & 17

These won't convert or burn. The FLAC files are corrupted or something.

A few others have mentioned it at the place I found the set.

Can't complain since it's free, I guess...

UPDATE:

Anyone having trouble with the 4 tracks mentioned here,

If using FLAC Frontend to convert, select decode through errors. This seems to solve the problem.
