I would be running things like a roadie at a Motley Crue concert if I had access to Prince! Spreecast is something for these nerds to try to make "connections" with fans.

I think Funk got the scoop on some 3121 party's first and then Prince started leaking info through his blog? Way back when people had blogs, before twitter and facebook got popular.

Doc funk isn't sponsered by anyone, its his own blog and works for no one but himself. The spreecast IS SOMETHING ELSEEEEEEEEEE(its not his website). Doc Funk was probably invited to do the spreecast along with seth everett.

Prince has admited to watching the Spreecast. Doc Funk has at many time talked about how Prince would like to hear ur feelings on such and such. Also, alot of doc funks news and predictions have come true. Plus it has been verified by a few outside sources.

This is a fact but according to Doc funk, "When U have no expectations and no sense of entitlement, U will be rewarded".

Obviously just being chosen by Prince to issue press releases from Paisley Park is rewarding for some in his...organization.

Totally not true. Doc Funk first off reports on many things that aren't Prince and His website existed before Prince. AND OF COURSE HE DOESN"T GET PAID. Prince is giving him FREE PUBLICITY. Most of the people who follow him are Prince fans who wouldn't know the site without the PRince news.

Besides DOc Funk also needs to get guest approval from Prince camp which is why we haven't seen doc fink on the show but we have seen bobby z and will be seeing him again this week. Also, Most of wat doc funk has said has come true.

But, this makes the situation with DF's site even more tragic me. The Prince "news" and "updates" are almost no different from what we got from NPGMC and Luv41A.com, and my hatred of their Prince updates is the reason why I migrated over to prince.org

The guy is interested enough in Prince to promote almost every video and upcming performance (many of which are funnelled to him by the prince camp), but appears to have no knowledge or interest in informing us of things like lawsuits, controversies, breakups, etc.

It appears to me that, if he's not really a mouthpiece for Prince, he's too scared to upset the balance in their relationship so that he can continue to receive updates from the NPG camp.

That's fine, because his site isn't nasty or vitriolic or gossipy. He seems to be a genuinely nice guy. The problem is that I don't find his site wholy trustworthy, because the information that comes from Prince is not really something anybody should trust.

Prince lies his ass off. And, DF is going to one day be a moutpiece for one of his lies.


This makes the org a far better place to at least try and arrive at logical conclusions to prince news.

All the bold stuff i can confirm is true. Doc funk is backed by Prince which is WHY WE HAVEN"T HAD TROY GUA ON THE SHOW. Prince wants to hear none of it even though funk per se doesn't have a problem with it.

I defend him because he deserves it. Some of the news we share here comes directly from him and that's a positive thing. Lets have something positive. We can have all the negativity we want right here.

I am not trying to be negative and I don't hate the doc either. I am not emotionally invested one way or the other.

I think he could be a genuinely nice person in the real world but after getting too involved in the Prince...organization he changed. Like Prince, he tries to act like it's "all coming from a place of love" and positive but he's made enough snide remarks and he's even used his site to be snarky to other artists/ex-Prince associates/employees/exes/fans who had issues with negative things Prince has done over the years. I understand he has an agenda. I don't have a problem with it but it is what it is with this guy. He's a sycophant and obviously thinks Prince, his people, and you Prince fans can help him become famous and have a gossip site like Perez Hilton. Maybe he wants his own show like TMZ except on his show he will have a small group of Prince fans from the Prince cult talking about Prince and his associates music as they gladly serve Prince and continue to give him and drfunkenberry their money.
