3rd Eye Girl gigs- Anyone agree this needs a live CD of highlights from P ..or the Bootleggers!

O.K. so far on record the songs released by 3rd eye girl have generally been shit. [IMHO!] However after listening to some of the recent shows there's still some killer stuff on there that would make an excellent CD. The reworked extra bluesy version of the Ride, forever in my life, hell even 'Fix your life up' sounds good live!, there's loads.

So who's gonna do it first..lets be honest the bootleggers will get it spot on in terms of song choice AND artwork. Would be nice to think that P could do something along these lines but you can call me a 'dreamer' too!

I just saw the performance during Billboard.

These girls and Prince are absolutely amazing when they perform live.

So,my answer would be YES

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Thank goodness those nefarious bootleggers were on top of the LOL tour since day one. Definitely some great stuff.

I think the 2 Denver shows from May 12, 2013 need their own special highlights release. I've made my own mix cd and I only wish that the the sound quality from the early show was as good as the late show. The early show is great but the sound is a little thin but as of right now these two are my favorites from the tour. I attended the Las Vegas show 2nd show 2nd night and though that was a good show (Alphabet St and Let's Go from this show were top notch!), after hearing shows from other cities like Denver and San Francisco (another candidate for a highlights cd release), I feel like Vegas got shortchanged.

i got those 2 as well and yes there is enough good stuff on there. Wish the bootleggers would edit the crowd out more though..but ..it was for free so really shouldn't complain!. They did an amazing job on the Coachella gig..soundborad quality + great artwork etc. That pefomance of 'come 2gether' moves me to tears..Jesus his guitar was waling that night....such passion & soul

Well u're talking about a guy who has enough tapes to release a new live show every month, u know digitally, no expenses all benefit for him, but HASN'T and obviously WON'T, so, well... cry

From Dakota to Frisco to Denver and all stops between, I'm loving this tour. And for those who are finding the recording quality of some of the shows not that good, I've been able to mix the shows myself to get some pretty good results, and I'm using a cheap audio software I downloaded online. So, once you get your hands on some of these shows, then re-mix them yourself, and you'll be surprised how much better you can make them. (Just make sure you get audio software with an equalizer and noise reducer.) I'm not saying that you can get them to HD sell as official CD, but I am pleasantly pleased with the sound quality I've been able to improve. And, one more time, I'm loving this tour! I'm mixing and matching my favorite songs/moments from various shows, and I've been in heaven on my terrace most every night bobbing my head to these jams. My wife says that the neighbors will think that I have some type of spasm disorder if I keep flopping and flailing in that chair.

Yup.

Good musicians, pure beauty and they express fun when they perform, giving it all.

What I like best about these girls is that their aim is the music, feeling the drum & bass.

That is what makes them cool.

3EG are a solid band that keeps Prince feet on the ground.

I still don't dig the fro, though.

I really tried.

Was great when he was young, now not so good.

It's just not a haircut for his face.

I also would love to have long hair, but it just doesn't look good. My face needs short hair.

Same with his fro, some people look fantastic with it, some are better off without it.

And too much of the guyline makes him look old.

But that's just all superficial bollocks.

This band rocks headbang
