Too bad it's only a one minute sample. If there is a full version I would love to hear it. He could release this with 3rd Eye Girl (unchanged of course) as a single and it would be hot, classic Prince. Now only if he could get on the radio.

There is a whole album out there of music from The Rebels project. Pretty good. Hard to get is the class of the bunch though.

While the lyrics are the same, Prince's solo 1981 version of 'Hard 2 Get' is musically/vocally superior to the 1979 Rebels version IMHO.

Last nights Billboard awards performances are a testament to why Prince will probably never be on the radio again. All those so called artists playing their instruments (if at all) over pre recorded music and lip syncing to boot, they all should be ashamed and embarrassed.

Prince is just too good for radio, and he knows it. Ultimately, he doesn't need the radio, those days are long gone. He just needs to keep doing what he is doing. He has a renewed energy that I have not seen in years, like he has something to prove again, and that is when Prince shines.

It is exciting to be Prince fan again.

Absolutely loved this snippet, I prefer this 81 version....love the kind of moody ominous tone of it and the lyrics...sounds like a classic Prince song needing a release!!!
