Billboard vids already off utube?!

Why?
I thought that it's an award show, he'd let it go... And why's he on there? Isn't he promoting something? Was it really worth it just for the ppl who caught it on Tv?

I don't get it...

I know it's nothing new and no surprise. Just in this case it really seems absurd. Maybe not much more so than other tv appearances, but somehow I thought the idea was to create buzz, so why stifle it straight away?

(Or was he mayb critical of the performance...?)

Does he even have rights to this clip? It's Billboard magazine's award show and was on the ABC TV network. Doesn't Billboard or ABC own it?

He just continues to amaze, doesn't he?

Sure, it might all be a pretty automatic thing at this point for his people, but he needs to change the way his representatives handle these issues.

I've glanced at a few discussions of the way Kobalt and Nick Cave worked together to promote the new Bad Seeds record (pretty darn successfully--best chart showings yet in the U.S. and Australia, I guess). I just don't see him doing it. I suspect he won't follow their suggestions and work with them on a consistent plan for promotion, and he'll keep up the knee-jerk reaction against free promotion.

Ah well. I could be wrong.

Well, it is still on the Bb site, so I guess that's ok really. And I'm finding it more and more awesome.

I can't access his new music anymore. Trying to keep up with Prince is very hard for the average person. I try to follow but it's so difficult. For years I've heard of many who are connected who brag of the boots they get, etc I've never been so lucky. Heck, I can't even get my downloads from the 3rd Eye site.

I thought the Music Club was the best site. Not sure why it was dismantled ( btw this is not a diss....) 20Ten never got my hands on that one either.
