It's Nursey! I missed you!
Nursey, this is one of my favorite P songs, ever. I love it so much. He really worked his falsetto on Crucial, and I agree the music is great. It's a shame more people don't know about this song. It IS sad. Prince has so many hidden gems.

There are 2 Unreleased versions A Sax version And a Guitar version <As i recall : Same as on Crystal Ball but un-edited This has always been a favorite of mine. I was a bit disappointing when the edited version was released

It's all about the full unreleased guitar version for me. Ecstasy. Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

Love it too, but I can't stand the mix on Crystal Ball. It would have been the weakest tune on SOTT though (behind It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night) Green virgin teenager, or filthy rich yuppy. Pussy cat pussy cat, where for out thou puppy

The sax version of Crucial is sublime, and it's arguably Eric Leeds' finest performance as a member of the Prince camp. I personally think Crucial is way better than Adore. ā€ˇhttps://www.youtube.com/@PurpleKnightsPodcast

No I don't think so, just a longer guitar solo part to the outro (where the Crystal Ball released version fades out the unreleased one carries on), there might be some vocal ad-libbing right at the end? Anyone? Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

It's too bad he and Miles never hammered out a studio version.
