I hope he plays the new version of "Let's Go Crazy" or "LRC" along with "FixUrLifeUp." Though I don't care for the song, I do want him to sell the new single.

Unfotunately, I think he will play either Screwdriver or Fixurlifeup.


This is essentially a female rock band, and Prince would be best served to play rock songs. Those are the two rock songs most prominantely released recently by him so far.


The performance will be great, but the material won't if he does that.
My hunch is that he will use new material because he seems to be recharged these days.


It would make A LOT more sense if he had an album ready to be dropped shortly thereafter, like when he dropped Diamonds & Pearls after a magazine interview, MTV award performance, and a blistering Arsenio Hall performance. But, these days it seems very odd and random, and the public loses interest really quickly no matter how great your performances are.

Since he's closing the show, I think he'll do a medley.

- edit And I doubt he'll play it but I would love to see Laydown as a part of it. Open with Laydown transition into the new version of Let's Go Crazy and finish it off with Fixurlifeup. Would be awesome

This is such an opportunity to reach and teach a new audience and give high-fives to an "older" audience. Although it would be difficult logistically I think it would be great if he performed with the NPG (and yes ShelbyJ, Liv and Elisa) first, and did something post musicology, something sexy, then brought out 3rdEyeGirl (alone) for a hammering rock tune and then finished with a master jam pre-musicology "hits" song or sampler with all of them--I think people would be blown to saturn...

i hope he plays the new version of Lets Go Crazy, i love this new version. and he will probably do Fixurlifeup, as it was just released as a single, that would be awesome. it would be awesome if he weaved in plectrum electrum in there, but im not sure how much time the performers have to perform.

i think he could also do Screwdriver, with the "Do yall mind if i lip sync, everybody else is doing it" intro, it would be very fitting, lol.
