On February 23 I was in NYC for the Grammy's and stopped by at Michael Jackson`s hotel to see if he was gonna be there (since I met him there before the VMA`s) and a limo pulled up and the guards were very mean even though there were only 3 of us standing there. He made us put our cameras on the ground. After a while we found out it was Prince's limo, and we started talking with his driver who told us what an "asshole" he is. He told us he looked in the rear view mirror once and Prince's guard broke the mirror off!! He also told us the whole "dont look at, or speak to Prince" rules. So finally after waiting for a while Prince came running out the VIP exit and we said "Hi Prince" and he waved and hopped right in the limo. He wouldnt roll the window down and say hi, take a picture..give autographs or anything...oh well I`m happy he waved to us and that i even got to see him, but I`d like if he was a little nicer to his fans.

Prince has never been like MJ is with fans. MJ rolls down the window of his limos and talks to fans, he signs autographs, he poses for pictures with his fans, and is just nice to them in general.

I think that's why you'll find that people who are into MJ are fiercely loyal to him. It's because MJ has always been good to his fans.

Prince does not sign autographs, and the only picture I've ever seen of Prince with a fan is from the 80s, with a contest winner from Wyoming. I've never seen him in any other pictures fans.

At least he acknowledged you and waved. Aren't you satisfied with that?

Seriously Prince can be a bit aloof at times and a jerk at times. To be fair, he has been pretty nice in person to NPMC members. As far as the general public, the 3 Chains of Gold video shows him signing autographs in the 90's.
