It's been a busy 2013 so far for Prince fans. We got new songs, new look, new direction, new tour via 3rd eye girl. So now that the year is half over....are you still excited or does it feel like a bit of a let down? What sayith the org?

I don't think it's imploding--just fizzing out? So, we'll probably see an album of some sort before Prince's working relationship with these women goes south. Three white girls aren't going to let him slap them around, especially after the cocaine runs out and such.

And, the concerts can't possibly pay for that much cocaine over the long run. Plus the drugs affect stage performances. The drummer is obviously the biggest user before the shows.

I agree,but Prince doesn't like working with "old people" anymore

This is going to sound really opiniated but,

I think a lot of the things that Prince does

***Including 3rd eye girl,

Are just not interesting or GOOD enough to have a major impact with the

world beyond the devoted fans..

He rocks James brown types of shows even with Maceo on his stage &

It still cant touch James Brown.

He rocks Like Jimi Hendrix with the faces, the strat, the whammy bar action

& It still cant touch Jimi Hendrix.

He gets some white girls that play instruments and bring a Zeppelin/Classic rock feel to his Music

& It still can't touch Zeppelin or any of the other great classic or modern rock artists..

(IMO) He's a bit too much Style over substance.. But, I still love him!

The sticky on the Concert forum says: 'Prince To Play Concluding LOL Tour Dates In Minnesota - 2 shows - May 25' so maybe it was just a short term tour/project if it's concluded. But if they are still practicing together anything could happen. Prince also seems to have so much going on in the background. Like the new music with Janelle Monae

I hope it's not over. This is the most interesting thing Prince has done in YEARS! A three piece all girl band and just him? I love it. He actually dug out some gems for this last tour and this band NAILED them live. The Max? C'mon! He actually even breathed some new life into Let's Go Crazy which he all but made me hate on his last couple of tours. I love the new tracks like Screwdriver and Fixurlifeup and I can't wait to get the album! Plectrum Electrum is a great song too, even if it does sound A LOT like "The Ocean" from Led Zeppelin
