Yes it's very good. It was known as just Down when it was dropped at the DJ set at the Dakota s while back. She Believed in Fairytales and Princes, He Believed the voices coming from his stereo

Yes. It's phenomenal. I was so happy when he opened with it last week in Vegas. I couldn't believe it! |

Immediately became one of my favorite Prince songs....absolutely beautiful. Wish he'd do more piano based tracks like this.

I hadn't heard it before the show in Vancouver. And he opened with it. And it hooked me. I reallly want to hear it again. "I mean I always figured you were a trip at times, but now I'm beginning to believe you're a freaking vacation." -2elijah

It is the best of the new songs, but that's not saying much. It's a gentle piano ballad. Not exactly groundbreaking, but very beautiful. The lyrics are kind of nursery rhyme: I used 2 have a house with the biggest pool Now I just feel like a fool But at least it describes an actual person in an actual situation realizing he's only human. And that's a very welcome change from all the new age babble he usually comes up with. So it gives me hope. He can still do it.

I need this song now, dealing with some heartbreak at the moment. I heard just the bit from DJ set, and it fits my mood. I wish I should channel my feelings into creating something beautiful, and take my mind off the pain. "So fierce U look 2night, the brightest star pales 2 Ur sex..."

I wonder if this is the same song and he's just pulled it out of the vault?

I've heard The breakdown from the Dakota show and from the lol tour, it's a very beautiful ballad Welcome 2 The Dawn

I haven't heard it either. Wish they would release for purchase on 3rdeyegirl, once the U.S. portion of the tour is over. Also wasn't there another one called "Ain't Gonna Miss U" or something like that some fans were talking about some weeks ago? Hope he releases them on the 3rdeyegirl site soon.

Definitely a standout song amongst his recent output in terms of melody, the live arrangement from the LOL tour lends very well to it with the strong drumbeat and prominent bass. I don't feel the lyrics that much, though. The first two lines make for a great opener (goosebumps every time I hear it) but the rest of the lyric is a bit too simple. Nonetheless, this is definitely a great, serious track. [Edited 5/11/13 8:43am] We Can Funk

I hadn't heard it until this past Tuesday live, and it made an impression on me - want to get the song asap! Hope it gets released. And that he doesn't embellish and polish it so much that it loses the tenderness and vulnerability.

Yeah. It's simple but effective. I really REALLY dig this song. It's easily my favorite out of the newest batch of released material. "I mean I always figured you were a trip at times, but now I'm beginning to believe you're a freaking vacation." -2elijah

It probably won't click with everyone, but I think it's in the same league as "The Empty Room".
I thought it was kinda average for the first couple of listens too, but then I realized how effective and beautiful it is. I'll wait for the final release though (might be different and lack the reverberation present on the PA recording).

Don't like it. I'm so tired of this generic ballad stuff...horrible!
