Hi there, was recently browsing the wonderful Princevault (seriously, whoever's running this is a hero) when I came across this mix I've never heard before. There's no more information on it other than, well, it exists:

But does it? I'e always found Princevault a very reliable source for completist stuff like this; finding only an occasional hiccup. Now I have the CD maxi-single and thought that that was about it, and there's nothing elsewhere online I can find about it. Funnily enough, whilst checking Discogs I did discover that there were in fact two versions released of this single; a 5 track and a 6 track (neither containing this 'edit'):

So, does anyone have any idea where to find this? Or is it a rare Princevault mistake? Cheers for any help guys!

it's no mistake, it's from a cassette single that was sold during the tour

Thanks for the information--I've wondered about that myself. Princevault just has a CD and cassette maxi-single that don't include that mix. What other tracks were on the one with the R&B mix--just stuff that's on the other singles?

it's not on the maxi single cassette, it's another version. there were a few rare tapes like staxowax and mustang mix tapes for example

That's the maxi--or as I like to think of it, the end of my "less-than-official" copy of the the album (the bootmakers just stuck it on--but it does have "Guess Who's Knockin'" on it). Unique is saying there's another cassette single, apparently--and Princevault, though they don't describe the actual release, do list the R&B Mix in the released versions of the song.
