Come Home Isn't this one of Prince's best love songs? Especially a line like: U livin in your world, me dying in mine... says so much about a love affair gone wrong. Does anybody have else like this one? Or have some background info on this tune?

The whole album is lovely, even the non-Prince tracks fit in perfectly. It's true that it's nice when P uses his protégés material live, something he tends to do more and more often. A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

Shelby doing Mavis songs would be OK! Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Asong with no name, acapella moans and a bridge of silence Undeterred nevertheless a masterpiece on butterscotch thighs Turn off the lights, turn off the lights It's time for Mr Go

My favorite song from this record. I love how the bass guitar is so up front on this track. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

I believe this was one of the tracks that Marc Stakenburg played in the same episode of his evening radio show on Dutch radio 3, in perhaps early '89, that showcased some songs of the Trojan Horse b00tl3g. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Maybe ask Shelby on failbook? (Shelby: if your're reading this, please hint mr Prince; you can do it, I've heard that from the soundboard ) I do think your remark about the arrangement is important here. They should do the song justice. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.
