It would be great if he played some more rocking material that has not been played much at all in his career:

I'm Yours, Computer Blue, Electric Chair, The morning papers, The same December, some Lotusflower stuff, Fury, ...

computer blue

it should be on the setlist no matter who is in the band. it's time to dust that monster off again.

.

sarah

i don't think he ever did this one live but it might work well with the 3rd eye girl band.

.

boom

it's on the setlist, sort of kind of, but i wish he would add his vocals to it, it's a great song imo.

.

paisley park

the guitar heavy version he used to do at the ona shows, i want to hear that one again guitar

.

lion of judah

another one he's never done live before. great, overlooked song, that deserves another go.

And yes, I was there.

And yes, I was next to the taper.

And yes, I still remember that it was a short snippet. Not the actual song.

And yes, the day after was the short shitty show in Cologne, by now known for shitty short shows, which had a nice, longer aftershow at the Live Musichall.

And yes I was there.

And yes, afterwards was Santa Klaus.

And yes, the show in Gent, Belgium.

Sorry, but those were days.

Indeed nice songs to choose from...

Most of them he hasn't played in a while.

I think Electric Chair would be cool with this group. Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad, maybe So Far So Pleased... Empty Room, Witness, One of Us

I would love to hear Crucial and Calhoun Square but really, the current setlist is so amazing I feel spoiled to ask for more.

He played Guitar, Purple Rain(sounds beautiful with the Piano), and Crimson and Clover. He also played snippets of 17 days and Shockadelica. wink

I'd love a mashup between Chaos And Disorder and Lenny Kravitz' Are You Gonna Go My Way, these songs are just wonderfully compatible!

A new take on The Undertaker would also be nice.

er

After watching the Spreecast & hearing Chris' suggestion that 3rdeyegirl should learn & play Da Bang live, inspired me 2 listen on repeat 2 that song. Thanks Chris! hug

It has 2 b one of thee most sexiest Prince songs 4 me- I can imagine just how turned on the chicks in the crowd would get hearing Prince singing this one live!! The hazy pheremone-filled steam coming off them wud block the view of the stage! Ha ha Yeah, been doin some serious head banging this morning & it sure feels goooood!!! biggrin Still my dream that P brings his 3rdeyegirls 2 the UK, & plays the Barrowlands. I'd need 2 get carried out on a stretcher after that rockin' affair! lol I'll keep dreaming & hoping!

Think this band wud b so good doing Calhoun Sq, What's my name, Hide the Bone(yet another crazily sexy song) & I'd just die if I heard No more Candy 4 u live- love it big time! cool

Oh Dear God, and how could I forget Zannalee?!!! Now that is one sexy wee song! wink

The Cross. And no, not The "CHRIST" version!! His little garage band set up would be able to rock it out. He seems a little less Jehova these days so maybe it's possible????
