Prince, Anal Stimulation, Sperm, and denial of the mutually exclusive forces of sex and God.

Prince is a genius. Forever will he be defined as a genius. There is no stupid slip up over gay-marriage, women’s rights, or self-describe slavery, that will ever dampen the fact that he is a musical force to be contended with now and for many future generations to come.

But long before the eagle eye of his lyrics turned to corporate manipulation of the record industry or the evils and perils of straying from God’s will in a dogmatic sense, Prince’s genius also expressed itself lyrically.

Where the rest of the world sought to make distinctions between the divine and the profane as diametrically opposed values, the Prince of the 80s said they were part of the same sexual-God energy. He even coined a phrase for it--LoveSexy.

The current day Prince may appear to be the preacher who summons God’s will through his preaching, but the old Prince was the preacher’s daughter who still believed in god, but snook out of the house every chance she got so she could give you some seriously mad-crazy cock suckin fun behind the skating rink on a Saturday night--But you knew damned well she’d be wiping her chin and hands clean at church the next morning without so much as one ounce of guilt. You go girl!!!! Or should I say, you go Prince!!!

In songs like , Get Off where Prince said, “Move you big ass ‘round this way so eye can work on the zippa baby![/i], Prince wasn’t saying it just for sake of shock value. Indeed in the chorus to this booty-lovin athem, Prince says “Let a woman B a woman and a Man B a man!”--he’s not just saying it as a matter of sexual preference. He’s talking about Gods divine design for male and female--don’t drown in guilt over it. Don’t be repressive to it. Revel in it, but in a mature, respectful way. He’s talking about a pecking order handed down from Jesus W. H. Christ himself. What Prince is saying is that the sexual play, so long as it is consentual and uplifting, is very much in line with God’s plan for men and women. He even states “I’ll only call you after if you say I can” bringing home the point that all things should be consensual and mutually respectful--but at the end of the day, it’s perfectly ok to bury your trimmed beard and typhoon do in some seriously delicious ass.

Not even sperm excaped Prince’s determination to bring together the supposed opposing forces of sex and the Divine. In Glam Slam Prince says, “Cum a butterfly straight on your skin. You go for me and eye come again!”. Again, this is not Prince being nasty to just be nasty. He’s trying to point out how spiritually uplifting sex can be if it’s done in a loving, non-selfish manner. In a sense, one could even picture that their skin is the church, and sperm is holy water--showering you with spiritual energy.

I know this quazi-philosophical elements may be too much for some, and to others, a bit amateurish and not well thought-out. But like John Lennon’s Imagine the beauty and genius of his lyrics isn’t in how well thought out they are, but in their idealistic purity--in their...dare I say it, Innocence.

And if that doesn’t make your butthole pucker up, and your hands reach towards heaven at the same time, I don’t know what will.

Viva la Prince!

Genre bending. Innovative. Controversial. And overall absolute genius, Prince can take anything .. I mean anything!!!! and express it with equal parts eloquence and shocking vulgarity.

Prince has never been one to shy away from controversy. Obviously, this whole lawsuit business lately is proof of that. Even if he's stopped cursing, and singing about having sex with virgins who are on the rag, he still knows how to stir stuff up.

But there was a time when his music was what ilicited all the responses. When it spoke for itself. No need for wearing assless pants, no need to make outlandish statements on magazines and other means--you could just get it from a record.

But one thing that always struck me was that Prince juxtaposed all manner of subjects, otherwise blush worthy to any other musician, effortlessly and with no sense of shame or embarassment whatsoever. It was like he pulled his nuts out of his silky lace panties and said, "Look bitches--check these hairy bad boys out. I may strut around in lace women's underwear, but I overflow with machismo!"...then boomerang his pumps at cha.

Anyways, sex, love, and spirituality -- these things are always pitted against each other in strange dualistic battles on his albums. but when viewed from afar, Prince is actually treating all these as one continuam. They are just different colors of his passion. He went from one end to the other with his songs.

Speaking of the other end, one of the things he seems to have an obsession with is the female hind quarters--perhaps even male, but that's always up for debate. But you always hear him talking about "ass" but never what he wants to do with it. It's as if he's not totally confortable with that region of the human body.
One could probably reckon that this was due to some repressed latent homosexual fantasy that was surfacing but being stiffled before it could shine in all its glory, but I propose that Prince was probably just revealing how hygenic and sometimes prissy he could be. The anus, after all, is more difficult to keep clean than vaginas and penises. Sure, Prince could easily say "I sincerely want to fuck the taste out of your mouth", but you'd never catch him say "I sincerely want to slush the poop in your ass with my dick"--There's a line that even Prince wont cross, especially if it involves hygiene.

His obsession with hygiene is apparent in his interview with Oprah Winfrey. When she asked him if he always dressed nice, he replied, "On a normal day I'm clean". Now obviously, he's being hip with lingo here, cause being "clean" also means to look sharp, but let's not kid ourselves here--Prince loves double meaning. He obviously means that on a normal day he keeps his ass fresh.

But if you think about it, the asshole or anus is just the other opening of a very long tube leading to your mouth. And in between there's digestion. Digestion of the words, the ideas, the very visualizations that flow throughout his work. Even when he says "Dont hate me cause Im beautiful", he says it like he's got food in his mouth. He goes further in that very same song (Pretty man) and says "Maceo--can U blow?" , which again HAS A DOUBLE MEANING! Always with the double meaning. But you can also hear this in many many songs. In Poom Poom Poom, he sings the chorus as if he's taking a massive dump, and he even does the Poom Poom rap like he's chewing on something. Its as if ALL bodily functions are not sacred to Prince. They're all worthy of expression.

And express he does. It was said once in some magazine that where Marvin Gaye cracked the bedroom door open a wee bit with "Let's Get it On", Prince tore that bitch off it's hinges!

Prince has always been a very progressive artist.
He has often said things about being willing to engage in all manner of sexual activity just to please his woman. For example, in Graffiti Bridge's "we can funk", he states "I'll be your boy or girl, I'll be your world, anything you ask...". And in Scandelous, he states, "Anything you ask, I'm willing to...".
So what I want to know is would Prince circa 1984 - 1993 have engaged in any type of anal activity, whether being the giver or the recipient, or do you think that he would have considered it too unclean?
He has often complained about sanitation in his song--almost obsessively so. For example, he states in "When U where Mine" that "she didn't have the decency to change the sheets", or in the movie Purple Rain he states , "You must first purify yourself in the waters of...". He even tells Oprah in her T.V. interview back in the mid 90's that "On an average day, I'm clean.."

So, what I want to know is, do you reckon that Prince ever gave or recieved anal stimulation from his freaky ladies, or do you think he considered it too difficult to perform and maintain proper sanitation?

Thank you for your articulated and well argumented post.

You show your eloquence and true intelect once again.

You outsmart every orger once again.

I think Prince is not aware that his elevated standards of hygiene are symptoms of OCD.

He probably assumes the rest of the world is crazy for not being as clean as he is.

Back to the back subject of Prince his sexual encounters.

Statistically it is very likely he has experienced analy sex.

Especially because a lot of religious people will have anal sex before marriage, because they excuse this as "not having real sex".

A lot of girls that encounter the hardships of religeous man, will allow anal sex, but are afraid of vaginal sex, because of the double standard of these religeous males.

Combining these two train of thoughts, I would argue that he has anal sex, but let's his sexual partner do some thorough bowel and anal cleaning before hand.

Which might not be that bad for his sexual partner.

Probable Prince will tell his partner that it is actually a healthy excersize.

The bowel cleansing I mean.

So, in short, I would think it is more likely that Prince has anal sex than not, and considering his fear of bacterials, the receiving partner will be professionally rinsed inside out.

I once read an article in the Rolling Stones that if Marvin Gaye paved the way for Americans to openly discuss foreplay, thereby keeping the bedroom door slightly ajar, with Dirty Mind,Prince ripped that door right off its hinges.”

It was the 80s, and sexual expression through androgyny wasn’t just merely a hazy layer of smoke left over from the Bowie-esque afterglow of the 60s and 70s., but rather it became sort of a counter-Reagan era statement. Where Bowie and Jagger experimented with sexual fluidity, Prince took it from subculture, to Vegas culture, to the damned Playboy mansion and back, and spread it on his circle jerk piece of toast with political penis butter.

You’re gonna have to fight your own damned war, Prince proclaimed, after he spends an evening in a bed with his female lover and her other man. And still lying in those dirty ass bed sheets soaked with sperm, littered with used condoms, and smelling like poppers and pussy juice, he dials up the President’s number and yells, “Ronnie talk to Russia before its too late!” People, that shit is BRAVE when you’re doing it in a trench coat, leg warmers, silk pannies, and a redneck bandanna tied around your neck.

Prince…..the critics darling of the early 80s…. Prince… the sexually obscure…Prince….the ethnically confusing….Prince….the beautiful little butterfly in the butterfly effect.

He was doing everything everyone else was doing and more. Michael Jackson was dancing his ass off on stage, but so Prince….And Prince did it with a guitar. Like that famous quote, “Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Estaire did…but she did it backwards and in high heels!” Well, damnit if Prince wasn’t our Ginger in high heels, but with curly chest hair, a bad perm, and decked in gawdy French Colonial inspired trench coats.

So what if Madonna wore a wedding dress and crawled on the floor shocking the world with her famous Like a Virgin performance—Prince would have done the same thing in the same dress, but the floor would have been a complete mess afterwords, I ain’t neva lied! talk to the hand

It was Prince who took the mantle of sexual fluidity from Bowie and Jagger. Prince was gayer than all of them rolled in to one. He was so gay in fact, that most of his songs about sex always hinted at him liking to slap it up against his face if you know what I mean.

Bambi, can’t U understand…

Bambi…It’s better with a man…. (Bambi)

Or

I just hate 2 C and erection go to waste…. (Rock hard in a Funky Place)

Or

Sexy Motherfucker (up until that point, I had NEVER heard a woman called a motherfucker). Almost every song on the symbol album, Gold Experience or any of his early 90s works, has some element that you can trace to ass or anal stimulation. This of course, is mixed with religion, politics, style, and dolphins—that shit is too awesome.

Prince owned his gayness to great affect. Go in the general discussion forum right now and you will not find one single heterosexual man in there---many will claim to be straight, but they are obviously very gay.

Prince cultivated, on purpose, a confusing sexual identify to appeal to the masses. He had, at one time, cultivated a confusing racial identity to do the same.

I think of Prince a lot like Steve Jobs. He was in complete control of his image branding from beginning to end. Purple Rain was his iPod, the stage was his Apple keynote speech, and buttless pants were his black turtleneck. Prince was on fire. Only in the early days, instead of a scrollwheel, you know damned well, you’d get a revolving bedroom door and a seriously fierce blowjob.

And even in the late and early millennium, Prince maintained a certain kink about himself even after taking on JW.

When he says he has the butter for your muffin, he’s not talking about dairy products afterall. He’s talking about what our girl Paula De3n is talking about down here:

I reflect upon this new Prince with a somber appreciation, somewhat slight disappointment, but always with a reverence for the hinges he tore off. Prince, was magnificent, wasn’t he?

May this New Year bring him all the love and peace he desires. But may he tear more hinges off, specifically those in the pearly gates one day. Prince….I raise a glass to you!
