The 'Purple Rain' soundtrack re-enters the Billboard 200 album chart this week at #97, upping its total charted weeks to 77 (it originally tallied 72 weeks during its initial run in '84-'85).

This week, for the Billboard chart dated 5-4-13, Purple Rain drops 97-183 and The Very Best Of Prince re-enters just below it at #188 (for a 33rd wek on the chart). I guess buzz from the tour?

#183 probably equates to sales of about 10 copies. But I think it would easily sell a whole lot of copies if he released a remaster containing b-sides and unreleased vault tracks from same period with it.
