Sorry, but I wanted to respond to the thread about how someone felt Prince had used sex as a gimmick to get popular, but now I can't find the thread

Anyway, I kind of know what you're saying because one of Prince's early advisers, Owen Husney, taught Prince that "sex sells." So, Prince, who has always had a strong belief in God, added sex to the mix and came up with his image of spirituality and sensuality.

Now he wants to drop the sexuality and go with the spirituality, but some of his fans prefer the R-rated Prince and are having a hard time relating to the G-rated Prince.

u know, it is sorta hard 2 stomach the fact that p's gone from rated r 2...oh, i'd say rated pg at the very least.
