great but underated: Grafitti Bridge! I'd just like 2 take this opportunity to praise one of my favourite albums: Graffiti bridge.
It's also one of the least talked about and a lot of times underated album. This is the album that got me into Prince! It includes great funky trax such as New power Generation, Tick Tick Bang, The Latest Fashion, elephants & flowers, to name but a few. there's the cracking Joy In Repetion with a guitar solo 2 die for. And it all ends with 2 glorious trax - Still Would Stand All Time & Graffiti Bridge (which contains the voice of the great, late Boni boyer + the fantastic sheila E on drums). So people, lets big up this album, yo! PLUS it would be cool to hear people praise other prince songs/albums which they feel need more attention!

ROTFLMAO! swdee, you'll find some varying viewpoint's here re: Graffiti Bridge. I think it's Prince's most soulful 90s album. http://www.prince.org/msg...&tid=39139

except for, essentially "We Can Funk" (& maybe "Joy In Repetition")..
Grafitti Bridge is UNDERRATED FOR A REASON! "We can funk is the ONLY track I still play on a regular basis from that "album", & even then, I dubbed it onto another cassette so I wouldn't have to "suffer" through the rest of that album. But hey, you like it, you dig it.. good for you. I'll see you tonight..

I dig it, too! It is one of my favorites. I can't really explain it to people. Joy In Repetition, We Can Funk, The Question of U, Still Will Stand All Time just speak to me. This is the one album I have purchased the most times

Graffiti Bridge was Prince's first 'CD' album.
All albums up to that point were concieved as LP's.
