very overlooked song which is quite brilliant in all it's simplicity. there is such a beautiful haunting atmosphere in this song and indeed, his vocals are truly great here.
i actually liked all the songs written for the "i'll do anything" film. the'yre all
we have quite a few of them now but i would still love to see prince release "I'll Do Anything" and "Make Believe" (especially the funky version of MB).
but also "Be My Mirror". he wrote some good tunes for that project and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
