That's a myth

He himself is not in the movie, but his symbol is in the credits.

...for "a split of a second", is this true? Heard this sometimes, but i have no idea if this is right. Can anyone help?

Some one pionted this out to me once and said:
Prince can be seen in the Batman movie.
It is a crowd scene during the Joker's parade
near the end of the film.
You see some one run in the background behind
a crowd of ppl. The figure can only be seen from
the side for a split second or two,
but IS wearing a purple suit and has a ponytail. confuse
It is a pause it on your VCR and decide for
yourself kind of situation.

hmm, watched it over and over yesterday and couldn't discover him.
Lots of Joker's staff wearing purple or pink suits, but no prince anywhere..

...good grief Charlie Brown.

some rumors never die!

Prince could make an offical statement that
he wasn't in such and such a movie or didn't
play on so and so's album, and there'd STILL
be a thread five minutes later swearing blind
that he was.

That's because any "official statement" would be a lie to cover up for the fact that he felt embarrassed falling over (and for wearing that red puffer jacket, to be honest!). The Cohen Bros had to shoot that scene, in the arse freezing snow 63 times before Prince got it nearly right. They included the scene to justify his place on the credits and to thank him for the cars. True nod

About Fargo:

look at the symbol closely: it looks like Princes but it is slighty altered

It is NOT him, the guy in the field doesn't even look like him !
yes SIR!

Holy crap people...I read somewhere a long time ago that the Prince symbol in the credits of Fargo was a joke and nothing more...it had to do with an in-joke about one of the film crew.

Sheesh...gullible folks. biggrin
