I'm not sure I get the logic behind purchasing each song individually? Or buying today only to have another released next week, tomorrow and so on? I'll wait a bit longer and buy all together

The only issue I have with this, is what is the focus... Just jamming music?

What does 3rd Eye Girl mean, if he releases an album where there be some kind of focus, cohesiveness

or will 3rd Eye Girl, the music, the title be no different that 20Ten + Welcome 2 tours that really had not real connection

He can be putting the orchestra through the trenches in reharsals 12 hours straight and all it takes is a finger and 5 minutes for someone to upload some shit.

and I just don't know what direction this whole thing is supposed to be going in

Again, I'd rather give him some more time, maybe preview a few of the songs live

and give us something that is cohesive and saying something, not just another album of music

he may or may not perform.

It's just my preference. I would like to give the music a good listen.

but this is an official prince website, so chances are pretty big that the whole site will

just fade to black without any word in advance.

so the only advice here is take what you can, while it's available.

Yeah--I'm just treating it like when I used to buy singles I already had (at more than 88 cents even in the 80's in order to get the b-side I knew nothing about, and then played the heck out of that thing. That's what the time between albums was for. Then the album was stuff you'd never heard of, and only started off another period when you put money down every little bit for extended versions and/or b-sides you'd never heard while you waited for an album.

And it was weeks/months between those things...

But I agree--I'm hungry, and since there's no record company telling him to slow down, I'm gonna whine for a bit.

Okay--It doesn't make much sense. Basically, I'm trying to say that although I want new tracks, we did have to wait for weeks or months in between singles (with whatever new songs or remixes) back in the classic period. That was supposed to be the fault of the record company, though, and clearly that's not the problem now.

I rejected the idea that the delay in new tracks is explained by the idea that there are other big plans (like an album or live shows release). And I attempted to express annoyance that there's this other website (prince2013.com) that he could be using for Prince-related releases if the reason that 3rdeyegirl.com isn't posting anything is to keep it for 3rd Eye Girl-related material only (which obviously has not always been the case, but now that the band is a somewhat separate entity with the "L.O.L" releease, it might be something to consider).

That's not much clearer. Oh well.
