I know some people are gonna laugh, but I heard an awesome cover just a few weeks ago. Most faithful Prince cover I've heard. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it!

Pleasantly surprised. That is quite gorgeous. I picture Charlie Brown and Snoopy walking in the snow in a Peanuts Christmas Special. Reminds me of Vince Guaraldi.

Purple Rain by LeAnne Rimes was spectacular I thought.

Ali Campbell's reggae version of Purple Rain. Yes, reggae, and not horrible like you might imagine, actually quite great.

Mariachi El Bronx - I Would Die 4U, mariachi version, again, not horrible like you might imagine, both of these are quite fun to listen to.

Kat Edmonson did a gorgeous version of The Beautiful Ones revently at the Carnegie Hall Tribute. I hope she records and releases it
