"I Feel For You" weird version?

Sorry with all of these questions but also on Work It 2.0 is a 10 minute version (possible remix?) of the song. It first has Prince's version in full then starts with heavy drum programming (I believe it is drum programming), and some bass, and some guy giving a short rap about wanting to fuck Chaka (I think). It then goes into a nice little groove with some woodwind sounding instrument.

Chaka's version then starts (still under the same drum programming and bass). The guy interupts several times just saying Chaka Khan... after a while he does a Chaka Khan sex rap. After that it has loops from her version.

I tried looking for it on the org and Pvault but nothing comes up. eek it's weird but I think it is cool and funky.

Anyone have any info on this? confuse

Is the rap anything different from the one that was on the original Chaka Khan track? That's all I remember being on that mix.

I used to like the Chaka version, but by the time that mix came along, I just didn't anymore. The Prince version had such a different, almost laid back vibe to it, and then the "Chaka Khan... Chaka Khan... Chaka Chaka Khan" and the just, I don't know, franticness of her version (and I know it really isn't all that fast--it just feels "busy" to me). Put together, it just didn't work for me.

Frantic or busy isn't the right word, but there's something that I can't quite find the word for.

Glad she did it--got the man some trophies, and considered on its own, it's okay. But I didn't like them put together.

No, that's not it.

I did like it (but I don't so much now)--but putting the two together was just jarring. Not a good fit.
