Princevault.com down?

Hey, anyone know what's up with Princevault? I keep getting "webpage is not available" messages.

Works for me. Try clearing your cache?

Clearing the cache didn't seem to make any difference. And I tried Internet Explorer, which I hadn't used in a few months (I normally use Chrome). But I assume it's working for everybody else since no one's saying otherwise.

Ah well.

Funny, when I first saw this thread, I was able to get there. Now it is not working for me with Google Chrome or IE. Weird.

Well, I still can't get it to work. I've tried clearing caches, I've just tried resetting my modem--nothing. I just don't know what's up.

Suggestions for the Error 101: connection reset message I'm getting include restarting the modem, router, etc. (which I've done); adding Chrome to antivirus or firewall settings (not really clear on how to do this, and since it works for every other site I try, I think it is); and changing proxy settings (I didn't understand what this really was doing, but I tried it). When I look elsewhere on the internet for suggestions, I get the same things, plus some confusing way-above-my-skillset instructions and some links to malware detection and removal programs. I doubt it's malware, because it only seems to affect Princevault (?) and my antivirus hasn't found anything interesting, though I know it might miss something.

I'd really like to reach Princevault, since I'm really wanting to get my collection all organized and the information is really helpful. I know much of the information's available elsewhere, but not updated as regularly or as easily searchable and usable. But it doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon.

Do you have some kind of internet security program running?

Example.. Norton, McAffe

Disable it off for a minute and see if it loads the site.

My security blocks some site for no reason confuse

I've got Trend Micro--turned it off, but still nothing. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I have been unable to reach it for over a week now. I have my ISP looking into the problem. From my research, I believe it is a routing issue with ATT backbone.

Try doing a traceroute from your computer to princevault.com If you are using windows go to accessories folder in programs from start menu and choose Command Prompt. A command prompt window will open, type in that window;

tracert princevault.com

and hit enter. You will now see the route that your computer is attempting to use to reach the site. It will start stalling out at some point. Now open another command prompt doing the exact same thing, leave the one open that you are using for PV, type in the second window,

tracert google.com

You most likely will notice that the first few lines are the same information. Then you will see that the tracert to google.com is continuing. See if the lines are exactly the same up to point where it is stalling for PV. If they are, then you have identified the router that is causing the problem (most likely). It will be one that is the next line in the google.com route, the line where in the tracert to PV it is stalling.

Now, try contacting your ISP and relating this same information to them. Leave the windows open so that you can give them IP addresses of your routing. Now, if when you call the tech support of your ISP, if you get someone who asks a bunch of shite about your browser and updates and wants you to restart your modem, etc. Just tell them that you have done all of that, the issue is in the routing and not related at all to your personal settings etc. You most likely will need to ask to have your problem escalated to a higher level of tech support. The main thing to stress when speaking to tech support is that the problem is with the routing and not your computer.

I use a local independant ISP, that routes internet traffic from my account on to ATT backbones. The problem for me occurs on the third hop, which is the hand off from my ISP's routers to the ATT router. That is where it is getting stopped.

Any information that you can provide would be helpful for me to work with my ISP. I have a feeling that PV may have ended up on a blackhole list that might have been imported into some routers here on the west coast.

If anyone here is using ATT as their ISP, see if you can reach princevault.com from your computer. Want to see if this is an ATT problem in multiple locations or just on the west coast.

a work around to this problem is to use a free online proxy site to reach princevault.com

I have used been using Turbo Hide to reach the site without any problems.

I'm on ATT--but I'm not on the west coast. I'm in Arkansas. I'll try doing the traceroute thing later, if I can. Thanks for the suggestion about the workaround. I might try that, for now. Good luck.

Okay, did the traceroute thing:

Princevault and Google both match for the first two lines--then the third line is different: Princevault is 12.83.75.141

Google is 12.83.75.137

Google then goes through a few more hops; Princevault just begins timing out.

So, does that mean that Princevault never gets to the 141 server? Or is it some unnamed server after that? My computer ignorance is immense.

I'm a little worried about using Turbohide. My security blocked it, saying it had been identified as a source of fraudulent or malicious activity. I sometimes go on to blocked sites, but I think I'll hold off for now.

Good evening, I am tech admin for princevault.com, I just processed tests on PC and Mac computer with the following browsers:

- Internet Explorer

- FireFox

- Chrome

- Safari

- Opera

Everything is running fine.

To be able to help I would need an exact description of the problem.

From what computer (mac / pc), with what browser?

I would suggest to try to test another browser if one doesn't work properly.

Empty the cache / Internet temporary files.

Have you updated your browser?

Is there any parental limits on the computer?

Two or three years ago we were added on blacklist after we were heavily spammed, but the issue is long fixed. If ATT blocked our site for whatever reason, and we can help, drop me a PM.

Try this:

Good luck.

Hey, did you use the same ISP over the weekend? I'm trying to figure out if there's anything to this ATT theory. So at anytime were you using ATT or did you change the ISP you were using?

I have proceeded to security check today to make sure our site wasn't blacklisted.

The answer : our site is clean. Our site is up and running well.

See below links for further information:

http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/www.princevault.com

Domain clean by Google Safe Browsing: princevault.com - reference

Domain clean by Norton Safe Web: princevault.com - reference
Domain clean on Phish tank: princevault.com - reference
Domain clean on the Opera browser: princevault.com - reference
Domain clean by SiteAdvisor: princevault.com - reference
Domain clean on Sucuri IP/URL malware blacklist: princevault.com - reference
Domain clean by the Sucuri Malware Labs blacklist: princevault.com - reference

Domain clean on Yandex (via Sophos): princevault.com - reference

If you have the possibility to connect to another ISP than yours at home, like in a cafe or restaurant wifi, I would suggest that you test it.

If ATT is your internet connection provider, I would suggest that you call them and ask why they deny you access to our site.

Good luck.

I am very certain now that the problem has to do with ATT routing. If each of you who can not access the site would please call ATT and report the problem and I know what a pain in the ass that will be.

Again, the work around for this problem is to use a free proxy server. I use;

http://www.turbohide.com/

There is nothing wrong with the site Princevault.com There is a lot wrong with AT&T. Please call them and let them know there is a problem. If enough of us call, then perhaps, just perhaps they will address the situation.

My initial problems resolved themselves (or someone else complained to ATT and got them resolved), but it started up again sometime this past week. I'm not actively doing anything important using Princevault right now, so I haven't done anything yet. But this is sort of annoying that it's repeated itself--and looks like it's still an ATT issue.

The problem was fixed a few weeks ago.

I'm sorry to hear that the issue surfaces again, but there's little to nothing I can do.

At&T keeps on putting us on blacklist for some obscure reason.

I'll resend request of de-blacklist.
