Anytime he ends a lyric with the word "be". It's like he's desperate to find a rhyming word to end the lyric.

While musically very industrious, Curious Child kind of skeeves me whenever I decide to play it. The Morning Papers is just as enjoyable and doesn't bother me half as much.

The only line I could think of is "Better than the used condom you sent me" in "One of Your Tears." That imagery grosses me out every time I hear it.

To a lesser degree, I hate the line, "I'm so horny and you're the stuff" in Glam Slam. It doesn't creep me out or anything, but it follows such a beautiful sentiment (I know I hold you too tight. But I just can't seem to get close enough). It sounds as if it was tacked on just to rhyme. That's one of many examples (2 the 9's included) of Prince mixing genius with the very ordinary. Maybe that in itself is genius?

I Wanna Melt With U and The Morning Papers...basically ANY song about a thirtysomething man who wants to take the virginity of a , well, virgin girl. Creepy!

I like the songs above, I also like Extraloveable, Lust U Always and the Morning Papers but I hate that those songs are marred by those rape and fucking virgins lines.

And of course any rape references...they ruined some great songs in the past. I´m pretty extreme when it comes to rape and rapists and the whole concept of rape and if I´d been part of the Revolution I would have either gotten into a heavy argument with Prince during rehearsals or basically slapped him until he came to his senses. There are quite a few lines about rape in some of his older songs. I strongly dislike the misogyny and views of Prince regarding women in some of his songs and can´t understand why such a talented and sensitive man would write such lines or have such views but I digress.

And "I´m your driver, you´re my screw." Absolutely hate that line and how he sings it.
