Spreecast 13/3/2013 recap? Anyone watched it? I tried to watch it a few mins ago but it freezes after 15 mins....

Well, just a tidbit of the show last night:
1) Drfunkenberry announced on the show last night, that Prince and 3rdeyegirl will be giving tix to orger EyeJester7's trip, to see Prince and his band perform at the SXSW show this weekend, and will take care of the the airfare expenses as well.
2) Andre Cymone was a guest on the show.

Actually earlier in the show they were discussing the Carnegie event, and information on why DrF waited to officially confirm on his blog/twitter that Prince would be at the SXSW show.
They talked about how Donna Grantis wrote 'Plectrum Electrum', and how Prince liked it, and decided to check it out and perform it with 3rdeyegirl.

I really enjoyed last night's show... I liked Jester's reaction to the news of him seeing Prince at SXSW happy for him and hope he has amazing time on Saturday looking forward to his full report next Wednesday. Best show so far and to have Andre Cymone was a real treat as well... hopefully I will get to see Prince for the first time this year |

Dr. Funkenberry's explaination for Prince not attending the Carnegie Hall Tribute To The Music of Prince was (no pun intended) screwy. Prince had to choose between going on Jimmy Fallon the week before Carnegie to promote 3rd Eye Girl band and give them exposure or going to the tribute. Prince has been planning the South X by Southwest gig for a while, but he could have just issued a press release about the gig, and do Fallon and attend the tribute. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR |
