What'd I Say?

Anyone know who Prince is clownin on during "What'd I Say" from the Beautiful Experience concert? (I don't think it's in the broadcast.) It sounds suspiciously like a skit to me.

"Somebody give Tattoo a guitar..." "Bud Light, ladies and gentlemen..."

That's when he used to invite audience members to get up and show what they got on the guitar. I think calling the guy Bud Light was his assessment of his chops, or lack thereof.
"So fierce U look 2night, the brightest star pales 2 Ur sex..."

I always assumed he invited Mötley Crüe or someone up on stage and whoever it was was too smashed to play.

Prince is a dick the whole time but it's still funny as hell.

er

^From what I've read, that's basically what happened. Some guy with tattoos was invited onstage to play guitar, but was too drunk to do it. absolut

It wasn't a skit. If it was a skit it would have been faster and more clearly theatrical. People who were there have described it.
