This question is fun. But to me Who gives a HOOT what he is?
From the people i know who Have known him for years-the answer is NO!!! One thing i know is-being a GEMINI (which is what i am) Prince has laways been well aware of the 2 sides ALL of us have-male female (don't take this literally people..i'm using a metaphor) and has always liked pushing the envelope. Think back you longt-ime prince fams but remember his line in Uptown.."are straight or gay?" Not many artists (straight ones) would put that out in a song if they weren't very comfortable with themselves. Could you guys see SPRINGsteen writing that in a song? And what about the Sign O' times 45 sleeve with Cat holding Prince's guitar-a lot of people THOUGHT she was HIM!!! The reason prince did that cover was to mess with people's minds. and it works.
